Musicians all have their own unique methods of
creation. Many artists who write their own songs begin with a melody
or guitar riff and later write words to fit the music. Azure, on the
other hand, begins with lyrics and composes music to the words,
accentuating the lyrics and enhancing the mood of the song as it was
written.

Below are some instrumental demos of some of Azure's compositions which were recorded from 1997-2000 on a Casio CTK-601.
Once the
composition is complete, Azure then turns her midi and audio files
(tracks of the individual instrumental parts which make up Azure's
compositions) over to the studio pros for mixdown and the addition
of her vocals. The finished "studio version" is then sent off to be
mastered, meaning that the tracks are adjusted in frequency and
volume, and digitally cleared of any sound impurities. The recording
is then ready for packaging.
