Catherine Provenza is an actress, voiceover talent and music composer. She was born in south Florida, but grew up in Texas. Her mother was a classical pianist and Registered Nurse while her father, a former corporate pilot and flight instructor, worked as a commercial aviation artist.
Catherine's acting career began with a featured role as Jackie, an ex-girlfriend of a wealthy womanizer, in You Had Me At Goodbye (2009), and as hot-tempered sidekick "Jade Greene" in the pilot episode of the TV series "OPN" (2009). She played a ghoulish executioner in the music video for the song “Walking Dead” by 1000 Pounds of Thrust, followed by her debut as a score composer for the trailer of the film, Anatomia (Stargazer Filmworks, 2009). She began 2010 making her production and directorial debuts with a 30-second cable television commercial while also making her theatre debut in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream playing both a fairy and performing as the understudy for Hermia.
As a techno recording artist, Catherine's music is a string and guitar-driven collage of techno and euro synthpop with occasional hints of funk, jazz and classical music elements. Energetic and enthusiastic, her sound is reminiscent of Depeche Mode and The Prodigy while her lyrics contain messages of self-reliance, words of encouragement and articulate demands for respect.
